Howdy everyone!
Thought I'd just drop a line to let you all know there is an "Other" amongst you (for all you Lost fans out there). But I swear, I'm really for the good side, not trying to kidnap anybody or steal babies... anyway... for those of you who haven't seen Lost disregard this...
I was asked to join this program by the CEO of this business, 'cuz apparently I have a story worth telling (apparently so does somebody else 'cuz they're writing a good chunk size part of a book on me about adolescent cancer survivors/fighters). The story will have to come in bits and pieces, because well, for the full added affect I'd need to start way before I was actually diagnosed, otherwise I don't think I could convey the full aspect of this story.
As for who I am right now, I've had Hodgkin's for almost 3 years now, with only 6 months in remission, had an auto-transplant, high dose radtx, and just had an allo-transplant (Aug 10th, w00t). Right now I'm just chilling out at home in between doc appts reading, and catching up on my math skills (5 years at VTech and I feel like my degree was worthless...). Surprisingly 6 weeks out and I have had no GVH symptoms and I feel pretty normal (except for the whole fatigue thing... which I hate hate hate).
A little bit more, I love love love love love helping other survivors and patients and I have no problem with 1-1 convos where I do most of the listening (in fact, I greatly love them), so if you ever need an ear, I'm here :-)
"The Beginning" will becoming out shortly

Yep, hair is good. Mine's been growing for about 6 months and man do I hate how it looks! I look like I have an old lady perm and the back looks all weird cause it's not the same length. I guess some hair is better than no hair. You're lucky you're a guy. Guys don't need to grow theirs out that much to look normal.
